Leicester Tigers welcome Häfele as partner

Leicester Tigers welcome international manufacturer and supplier of furniture fittings and architectural hardware Häfele to the Tigers Family.

As an official partner of Leicester Tigers, Welford Road’s control tower ‘The Cube’, which sits in the north-east corner of the stadium between the Holland & Barrett and Mattioli Woods Stands, has been branded by Häfele.

Häfele will also be supporting the league-winning Leicester Tigers Wheelchair Rugby team from next season as the club continues to drive the growth of the sport.

Häfele have customers in more than 150 countries and supplying hinges, drawer systems, handles, architectural hardware, door hardware and electronic locking systems to name a few.

The company’s head office is based in Warwickshire and was founded in 1923 in Germany. Häfele UK was launched in 1973 and today there is no continent without a Häfele subsidiary or sales office.

Marketing Communications Manager at Häfele, Becci Pell, said: “Leicester Tigers fits really well with the values of the company. We are a Midlands-based company with an international customer-base and Tigers are the biggest name in world rugby, so we’re hugely excited to begin working together.

Leicester Tigers plan to present Häfele as the official partner of the Leicester Tigers Wheelchair Rugby team at Welford Road at the start of the new 2018/19 season in September 2018.
