Edinburgh Rugby announces Principal & Prosper as main club sponsor

One of the UK’s largest Chartered Independent Financial Advisors, Principal & Prosper, have been unveiled as the new Main Club Sponsor of Edinburgh Rugby.

The successful local business, which has been a supporter of the club since 2015, will adorn the playing and training kit for the next three years as Richard Cockerill’s side compete in both the Guinness PRO14 and Heineken Champions Cup. The new playing kits, manufactured by Macron, will be unveiled laterin the summer ahead of the new season.

On the announcement of the new partnership, Edinburgh Managing Director, Jonny Petrie, said: “It’s a tremendous vote of confidence that such a prestigious local brand such as Principal & Prosper wishes to make such a significant investment in the future of this club.

“We are working hard to create a club that the people of this city are proud to support and brands want to do business with, so having enjoyed a great relationship with Chris, Stewart and the Principal & Prosper team for the past three seasons, we look forward to continuing that growing relationship together in the coming years.”

Principal & Prosper, who have offices throughout Scotland, was founded in 2003 and features a team of advisers with a wealth of experience in providing financial advice. As well as their brand reaching millions of people across the world in both the Guinness PRO14 and Heineken Champions Cup, a key focus of their partnership will be to support the club’s community initiatives.
