Bath Rugby has agreed a new five-year strategic partnership with Dyson which will see the global engineering firm continue its title sponsorship of the Club.
The long-term commitment from both Dyson and Bath Rugby demonstrates the enduring strength of the partnership and its importance going into what will be a very exciting upcoming period for the Club – with the recent player and coaching investment and Champions Cup rugby all to look forward to.
Chief Executive at Bath Rugby, Tarquin McDonald, said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Dyson. Over the past four years we have shown just how powerful it can be to partner with the right brand. Dyson is a progressive, innovative, industry leading business, with values synonymous with our Club and we are tremendously excited by the challenge of continuing to deliver value for such a global powerhouse.
“We are looking forward to continuing to work closely together to engage, inspire and drive value not only for each other but for our supporters, our City and our wider community too.”
Managing Director GB at Dyson, Rebecca DeNiro, commented: “Dyson’s partnership with Bath Rugby over the last four years has been incredibly strong and we’re excited for what’s ahead for the Club. This new commitment brings an expansion of community initiatives like the Bath Rugby 7s Club Championship in association with Dyson, which we’re thrilled to be a part of.”
Dyson – who have been the title partners of Bath Rugby since 2014 – will continue to be the main brand on all Club kit. In addition, the firm will also remain the naming rights holders of the East Stand at the Rec.
As part of the deal, Dyson continues to support The Clash – a regular season Gallagher Premiership top-flight game for Bath Rugby combining sport and family entertainment into one unmissable event at the home of English Rugby. For the past two years more than 61,000 supporters enjoyed The Clash at Twickenham, including over 3,000 Dyson employees, along with family and friends.
Finally, the ‘Bath Rugby 7s Club Championship in association with Dyson’ plays host to a number of local teams who compete in a tournament ahead of the final home game of the season. As part of the new partnership, plans are now in place to expand the tournament in size over the coming seasons in conjunction with Bath Rugby’s community team.
