Widnes Vikings have announced Widnes Metal Recycling will be one of the Club’s Main Kit Partners for the 2019 season.
The Fully Licensed Scrap Metal Recycling Company have been associated with the Vikings for four years and in 2019 their brand will feature on the first team player’s socks, marking the second occasion the company have appeared on the Club’s kit.
Widnes Metal Recycling were established in 2012, specialising in the collection and recycling of non-ferrous metals such as Copper Cable. Their Hi-Tech Machinery ensures that as much copper is recovered as possible and that they are able to sell any waste plastic.
In 2018 they have sponsored the 19-man squad announcements, which appears across the Club’s social media accounts, the Vikings’ interchanges on match days and also appear prominently on perimeter advertising boards at the Halton Stadium.
Owner of Widnes Metal Recycling, Ben Karalius, said: “We are delighted to feature on the Vikings’ 2019 kit after enjoying a successful partnership with the Club over the years.
“Seeing our brand on the socks of the kit will be a proud moment for the company, and we are equally proud to be backing the boys next year.”
