Gloucester Rugby has confirmed that Scoen International have been appointed as the clubs new security partner.

A locally based company with a strong link to Gloucester Rugby, Scoen International will provide security services at Kingsholm Stadium, 365 days a year.

Gloucester Rugby’s Chief Commercial Officer, Adam Benson, commented that he’s delighted to be working with another local organisation.

“Scoen International are a local company, but one whose success has seen their operations spread worldwide.

“What really impressed us when we first met, in addition to the services they provide, was their passion to partner with Gloucester Rugby. We’re looking forward to working with Jason and the team.”

Group CEO, Jason Johnson, explained that this is a relationship that means a huge amount to Scoen International.

“We’re all incredibly excited, it’s something that we’ve been working towards for about three years now.

“We’re a Gloucester based company, but we work on an international basis and provide strategic partnerships throughout the Middle East and Africa, for example, providing services for individuals and organisations as diverse as oil companies and celebrities.

“We’ll be managing security at Kingsholm, looking after the stadium, the staff and supporters, ensuring that their visit to the stadium is safe so that they can enjoy their visit in a warm and welcoming manner.

“This won’t just be a matchday partnership, we’ll be looking after the stadium all year round, including events such as concerts. We’re very much looking forward to a long and lasting partnership.”
