Salford Red Devils have announced a new partnership, making BMI The Alexandra Hospital the club’s exclusive healthcare partner.
Red Devils players will be supported by medical professionals at The Alexandra Hospital.
Head Coach Ian Watson stated: “The partnership with The Alexandra Hospital means our players have access to specialist care in a well-established private hospital.
“It is important that we deliver the best possible performance to our supporters every week and this new partnership will help us achieve this.”
The Alexandra Hospital is located on the border of Greater Manchester, and provides a wide range of medical and surgical procedures to thousands of patients each year.
With eight operating theatres, including a hybrid Cath Lab, and some of the region’s most experienced consultants; it is understandable why The Alexandra Hospital has become the healthcare partner of choice for local sport clubs.
The hospital is currently in partnership with: Salford Red Devils, The Sale Sharks, Leigh Centurions, Stockport County F.C, and Manchester Storm.
Executive Director Marge Falconer, at The Alexandra Hospital, stated: “As BMI Healthcare’s flagship hospital we are very proud to be in partnership with the Salford Red Devils.
“Our role is to support the club throughout the season and provide the players with access to specialist healthcare from experienced consultants.
“Our partnership with local sporting clubs is a testimonial to our hardworking and compassionate staff teams.
“I am delighted to have formed this partnership with Salford Reds and wish them all the best in the remainder of the 2019 season.”
