London Irish have confirmed that the club will partner with MatchDayInfo to provide supporters with another platform to consume the club’s match day programme.
Supporter’s that are unable to attend London Irish home fixtures, or those that follow the Exiles from abroad, will be able to download the programme from the comfort of their own home or whilst on the move.
The club’s match programmes will be uploaded to the MatchDayInfo app as each home fixture kicks-off, ready to be purchased and downloaded to the supporter’s android or iPhone device.
“We are excited to be adding our programme to the MatchDayInfo app” said Brian Facer, London Irish chief executive.
“It gives any supporters who can’t make a home fixture, the opportunity to share an element of the match day experience and read the programme on the go. London Irish has a diverse supporter base, many of whom are overseas, and this is a great way for them to connect with the Club on another level.”
Hard copy programme sales will continue at each home match.
“London Irish is the first Gallagher Premiership club to partner with MatchDayInfo and we are delighted to be working with them throughout the 2019/20 season” explained Will Biggs, MatchDayInfo managing director.
“Our app is a brilliant way for supporters to stay connected to the club and engage in exclusive content that is used in the programmes.”
