Leicester Tigers will be kitted out by new formal wear partner Marc Darcy for the 2019/20 season.
Senior players, development players and coaches will wear a tailored three-piece navy suit after each home game at Welford Road as well as club dinners and formal events or appearance.
After setting up nearly 30 years ago, Marc Darcy has gained a reputation for offering high quality, designer garments.
The squad tried their new outfits out for size at a fitting session at Oval Park during the pre-season, which includes a Max Navy three-piece suit with contrast buttons and Wine Knitted tie.
Their collection include the finest fabrics, such as heritage look tweed, herringbone mixes and luxurious velvets for blazer and waistcoat ranges to a variety of checked, pinstripe and opulent fabrics for our suits.
With stockists dotted around the UK, Scotland & Ireland, their Manchester store sits alongside a 43,000 square ft warehouse which houses all of the styles you see on our site.
Fans should keep an eye out over the coming weeks for a behind the scenes look at this year’s photo shoot before the start of the 2019/20 campaign.
Andrea Pinchen, chief operating officer at Leicester Tigers, added: “Whenever you see the players in their formal attire, this is courtesy of Marc Darcy.
“We are delighted that the double ‘Drapers Menswear brand of the year’ winners have partnered with us to dress the team for their formal events.”
Karen Johal, creative director at Marc Darcy, said: “We ensure that our meticulously designed pieces are created using the finest fabrics and extra attention to details. From suits to shirts and ties to caps, our range is ever improving and expanding leaving no forma wear stone unturned. All of our tweed suits can be mixed and matched, allowing customers to be experimental and create their own unique look, particularly suited to a Peaky Blinders style or a wedding party.
“A huge advantage for us is that with stockists dotted throughout the UK & Ireland, as well as our own dedicated website, our products are readily available to customers. We are constantly growing and evolving and will soon be introducing a footwear range in the hope for Marc Darcy to become a one stop shop for your next formal event.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Leicester Tigers and offering a touch of class to the teams off-the-pitch style. We look forward to a successful future with the club.”
