Worcester Warriors’ new Fanzone at Sixways will be sponsored by the club’s long-term IT partner EBC Group.

The EBC Fanzone is an impressive new addition to the facilities at Sixways this season and has proved popular with Warriors regulars and visiting supporters.

The Fanzone, behind the North Stand, has bars and stalls selling a range of food including speciality vegan dishes, pulled pork and menus that will match the themed matchdays throughout the season. There is also a covered seating area and entertainment for all the family before and after every Warriors home match.

The deal continues the partnership between Warriors and EBC Group who are also a shirt sponsor of the Gallagher Premiership club and sponsor of the Warriors’ VIP hospitality suite, the EBC XV Club.

“We are delighted that our Fanzone will now be known as the EBC Fanzone,” said Warriors Managing Director Peter Kelly.

“We have a long and happy relationship with EBC Group who are one of our valued customers and we thank them for extending their sponsorship to the Fanzone.

“The new Fanzone has been a huge success with supporters this season but we are always looking at ways to enhance the matchday experience for supporters.”

In addition to the EBC Fanzone Warriors have also installed new floodlights, two big screens and a new PA system for this season.

Warriors have also been working with closely with EBC Group on a number of technology improvements including the implementation of secure, reliable Wi-Fi, which is seen as key for boosting fan engagement.

Richard Lane, Group Managing Director of EBC Group said: “Sponsoring the EBC Fanzone is a great opportunity for us to further our partnership with Worcester Warriors and help to create the best fan experience.

“We can offer venues such as Worcester Warriors a wide range of technology to improve their fan engagement and have been working closely with the club on a number of technology projects.

“We’re excited to extend our sponsorship with the club, which will provide excellent coverage for our brand and help us to increase our awareness amongst businesses in the region and across the UK.”
