Scottish Building Society continue to back Edinburgh Rugby

Edinburgh Rugby have received the continued backing of one of Scotland’s most recognisable financial organisations as Scottish Building Society extend their partnership with the club for a further two seasons.

The Edinburgh-based financial institution will become the club’s Official Building Society and will feature on the back of the club’s new 2020-21 Macron home and away match kit, launched last month in the build-up to the new season.

After originally joining the club’s sponsor family for the final fixtures of the 2019-20 season, Scottish Building Society have continued to back the club into the new campaign and will remain Edinburgh Rugby’s Official Building Society until at least 2022.

On receiving the continued backing of Scottish Building Society, Edinburgh Rugby Managing Director Douglas Struth, said:

“In these difficult and unusual times, the support of our sponsors is more crucial than ever, so for Scottish Building to extend their partnership and remain an important part of our sponsor family is truly fantastic.

“The club continues to make positive strides, both on and off pitch, and that is evident in our ever-growing sponsor family, whose support and guidance has been crucial during a period of uncertainty.

“We’re delighted to proudly carry Scottish Building Society’s logo on our match kit as we compete in the Guinness PRO14 and return to the Heineken Champions Cup in 2020-21.”

Scottish Building Society Chief Executive, Paul Denton, said:

“As an Edinburgh-headquartered company with roots in the community, we are delighted to support a club with the city at its heart. We look forward to seeing the team compete in the coming season”
