Edinburgh Rugby and Galbraith extend sponsorship deal

Galbraith will continue to back Edinburgh Rugby for the next two seasons, with the club’s Official Property Consultancy Partner extending their sponsorship until 2023.

As Scotland’s leading independent property consultancy, with expertise across a broad spectrum of property-related services, Galbraith have been a proud member of the Edinburgh Rugby sponsor family since 2015.

The renewed sponsorship will see Galbraith’s logo continue to feature on the collar of the club’s home and away Macron match jerseys, while the Official Property Consultancy Partner of Edinburgh Rugby will retain title sponsorship of key pieces of social content, including the game-day match centre and reaction feature.

On the renewed sponsorship, Galbraith CEO, Martin Cassels, said: “We are delighted to be extending our partnership with Edinburgh Rugby.

“Rugby is such a natural fit for our business and, whether playing in normal times, in lockdown or not at all, we can see the partnership works. We’re really looking forward to seeing the new stadium and playing our part in creating a great atmosphere.

“Edinburgh Rugby’s reach and influence transcends the east coast, capturing imaginations across the United Kingdom and further afield.

“This exposure has been paramount to growing the Galbraith brand over the past few years, increasing and maintaining our profile to a wide audience and even more so over the last 12 months, as an additional means of communication to the Edinburgh Rugby family during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

“We have been delighted with the creative input from Edinburgh Rugby, the coaches and the squad in their efforts to assist us with online promotions and events during lockdown.

“Access to players, coaches and the facilities at BT Murrayfield has provided us with some great joint branding opportunities, be those online or at physical events, which have all played a part in putting our brand in front of a wide and varied audience.

“We very much look forward to getting back to BT Murrayfield and the club’s new home once the pandemic restrictions are finally lifted.”

Edinburgh Rugby Managing Director, Douglas Struth, added: “To receive the continued backing of an established and instantly recognisable sponsor like Galbraith is a huge boost to the club.

“Galbraith has been part of the Edinburgh Rugby sponsor family since 2015 and now feelsynonymous with our own brand, whether that’s through its logo featuring proudly on our kit, or through its support and input to joint digital activation.

“We’re extremely proud to carry Galbraith’s logo across the club’s kit and merchandise and look forward to our continued relationship building as we work towards moving into our new home.”
