Title partner of Premiership Rugby, Gallagher hosted a fantastic quiz night in February 2020 in Kingsholm’s 1873 Ricoh Lounge to raise money for Gloucester Rugby Foundation.

The event itself was a huge success, with 28 teams attending and raising an amazing total of £2000 for the Gloucester Rugby Foundation. 

The quiz night was great fun and attendees were generously supplied complimentary drinks from Greene King.

The Gallagher Premiership Rugby Trophy was at the event and quiz goers enjoyed a photo opportunity with the iconic prize. 

The top three spots on the quiz night were earned by Legally Blonde in third place, Mergers & AcQUIZitions in second and Hazlewoods reigned supreme in first place! 

Gallagher is keen to run another event this year to raise more funds for the Gloucester Rugby Foundation, when it is safe to do so.

Mark Holmes, Gallagher’s Gloucester Branch Director said: “The quiz was a huge success raising £2,000 for the Gloucester Rugby Foundation, which will help support the local community by using sport as a vehicle to achieve positive social change via engagement and education. I would like to thank the local Gallagher team and Gloucester Rugby for organising the event and also Greene King for supplying complimentary drinks; it was a great evening and we hope to plan the next one as soon as we are able to meet in person.”

The Gloucester Rugby Foundation aims to ‘Engage, Educate and Inspire the local community to bring about positive social impact and new opportunities for all through sport’, and much-needed donations to the Foundation go directly back into our community initiatives.
