Leeds Rhinos have received a major boost with a new five-year agreement with Leeds-based company NIC Services Group.
NIC is one of the largest privately owned Facility Management providers in the country, employing thousands of people throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe. A business that has extensive experience of the catering, cleaning, security and facilities management industry, they have over 40 operational centres across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
The new partnership will see the striking NIC branding appear on the Leeds Rhinos warm up top and on the back of the 2021 playing shirts as well as extensively around Emerald Headingley Stadium.
NIC Services Group was recently named in in the Financial Times 1,000 Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies for the second year running. This prestigious list identifies Europe’s fastest growing companies with the strongest revenue growth. That award came less than a year after NIC was also recognised, for the second year running, by the London Stock Exchange as one of the ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain.’
Group Chairman John Spencer said, “We are delighted with the partnership and we are proud to sponsor this great club.
“On a personal level I have supported the club since I was a young boy, my family and I have so many great memories and friends through our involvement with Leeds Rhinos, and the club has a very special place in our hearts.”
Leeds Rhinos Commercial Director Rob Oates commented, “It is fantastic news for Leeds Rhinos to have agreed a new long term partnership with an outstanding business like NIC Services Group. Chairman John Spencer, along with his family, has been long time supporters and backers of the club and we are delighted to have made the link between our two businesses even stronger. Integral to the partnership is also the fact that the NIC Group Services also bring their extensive track record of success to Emerald Headingley Stadium.”
