Premiership Rugby has announced a ground-breaking new long-term partnership with Ticketmaster Sport.

This innovative partnership, the first of its kind in the UK, will see Ticketmaster Sport become the Official Ticketing Partner for Premiership Rugby. As the official ticketing partner, Ticketmaster Sport will deliver ticketing technology and marketing solutions for the next five years.

It will make it easy for fans to enjoy what we believe is the greatest domestic rugby tournament in the world. With Ticketmaster’s unmatched reach and marketing support, we will work together on our vision to grow the game in the UK and attract more fans to the sport.

“Gallagher Premiership Rugby has never been more compelling and exciting as it is today, with an average of more than six tries in every match and around 50% of our games finishing with a winning margin of fewer than seven points.”

As part of the partnership, Premiership Rugby and Ticketmaster Sport will create a one-stop-shop for fans to buy tickets for Gallagher Premiership Rugby, both league matches and the Final on 18 June.

Ticketmaster Sport’s dedicated solutions will enhance the fan experience with frictionless digital ticketing and Ticketmaster’s technology all focused upon delivering innovation built on resilience, while also streamlining the experience across the league to deliver a reliable, consistent journey from sale to seat for every single game.

The cutting-edge initiative creates a safe and reliable platform for fans as well as introducing rugby to a broader audience, working alongside our clubs’ existing platforms.

The new platform will be launched in December to sell tickets for the Gallagher Premiership Rugby Final 2022, and in due course will offer matches from across Gallagher Premiership Rugby.

We also have significant interest from overseas supporters in our matches, so this new service will ensure fans in any time zone can buy tickets for Gallagher Premiership Rugby.

“This deal – which will deliver ticketing technology and marketing solutions for the next five years – ensures we will receive the world-class service and industry-leading ticketing technology from Ticketmaster Sport.”

To assist the growth of the rugby fanbase within the UK, Ticketmaster Sport will also support Premiership Rugby to develop bespoke marketing campaigns to drive reach, engagement and find new fans.
