Kings Cross Steelers RFC is seeking a Head Coach for the 2021-22 season and beyond. London 3 Essex – Level 8

The Kings Cross Steelers is not just another community rugby club.

Founded in 1995, we were the first gay and inclusive men’s rugby club in the world. Based in East London, we now have over 200 playing members over four different men’s teams and a dedicated pathway to rugby programme.

As Head Coach you would be working with talented and enthusiastic player base, focusing on their training and leading them on Saturday match days. Our mission is to play the best rugby we can at all levels. Our coaching coordinator and large number of volunteer coaches will learn from you to keep pushing those boundaries.

Your role will be to inspire success, drive ambition and create a coaching culture that holds inclusion and enjoyment as important as victories.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of a coach educator or developer role ideally but we invite all experienced applicants holding at minimum the England Rugby Coaching award. Personal growth and development asperations are key and will be supported by the club.
